Video game developer Atlus has announced that upcoming game Persona 5: Royal is set for release in Japan on Oct. 31, with a worldwide release following in 2020!
An updated version of Persona 5, the sixth installment of the popular Persona video game series, the new title will introduce new characters, story elements and map additions.
Joining the original characters at Shujin Academy are Yoshizawa Kasumi and Maruki Takuto. The former is a transfer student who is also a beautiful rhythmic gymnast, while the latter is a school counselor, having been brought out due to an incident with a certain teacher.
Fans can also enjoy an original “third semester” story, featuring a handsome yet mysterious boy who seems somewhat familiar. Not to mention, new events and map areas have been added, giving players more to explore both as a student and as a thief.
Persona 5: Royal will be released for PS4 in Japan on Oct. 31, with a worldwide release following in 2020.
